NINLAN is located at Akpaa, Ovom Community, along Aba - Azumini Road, Ogbor Hill Aba. It has a mini campus, the city campus, located at No 53, New Umuahia Road,  Ogbor Hill Aba, on which its consultancy offices as well as nursery, primary and secondary schools are located.

Postgraduate Diploma in Translation and Nigerian Languages 18 months,

BA and NCE are currently on. NINLAN is in Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board website.

What qualifications can I get at NINLAN?

NINLAN offers Diploma, PGDE, NCE. Modalities are currently being put in place for First Degree Programmes

The National Institute for Nigerian Languages (NINLAN) Aba was set up by Decree 117 of 30th December 1993 (now CAP N50 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004) as the apex institution for research, teaching, documentation, and coordination of studies in Nigerian languages. It is also an Inter-University Centre for Nigerian languages studies.

NINLAN is located at Akpaa, Ovom Community, along Aba - Azumini Road, Ogbor Hill Aba. It has a mini campus, the city campus, located at No 53, New Umuahia Road, Ogbor Hill Aba, on which its consultancy office as well as nursery, primary and secondary schools are located.

The Institute has its NINLAN Press and Bookshop facility on the main campus as well as the city campus and it is registered with the Nigerian Publishers Association (NPA). The Institute currently has a print version of her research journal. The Online version is soon to be launched.
