An Abuja – based charity organisation,Skylink Charity Foundation, has presented an award for excellent leadership in education to the Executive Director of the National Institute for Nigerian Languages, Aba, Professor Ogbonna Onuoha.

The award is in recognition of the Executive Director’s achievements so far in the short period he has served as the Head of the Institute.
This was declared by Ms. Chihindu Ukatu, Project Coordinator of Skylink Foundation, while presenting the award to Prof. Ogbonna in his office.

She urged the ED to continue to work for the benefit of the Institute and the country’s educational development.

Receiving the award, the NINLAN boss expressed delight for the recognition accorded him by the Foundation, and explained that his Administration is working not to receive awards but to ” do the right things and add value to the Institute and the country.”

The brief event was witnessed by the Institute’s Bursar, Mr. Kolawole Aliu; Librarian, Prof. Cyprain Ugwu; Director of Works, Arch. Emeka Izuwah, and Head of Information, Protocol and Public Relations, Mr. Chris Nwankwor.
