Mr. Bukunmi Ogunsola BA, MA
Mr. Ogunsola is an Assistant Lecturer in the School of Linguistics and Nigerian Languages. He holds a Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in Linguistics (2011 and 2015 respectively) from the University of Ibadan.
He has admirable research capability with experience in aspects of phonetics and phonology of Nigerian Languages, communication and language disorder.
It is to his credit that he was able to surmount the rigid compartmentalization of disciplines to be able to turn out a promising project on dyslexia in children. Knowledgeable in field research and use of Linguistic tools, he has served on various teams where expertise of a linguist is strategic such as in the creation and management of data bank for Nigerian Pidgin, at the African Languages Technology Initiative (Alt-i) while working on YorÃ¹bÃ¡ speech synthesis and as conversation partner at the YorÃ¹bÃ¡ Language Center, University of Ibadan, Ibadan. He possesses vivid imagination and deep thinking temperament. He currently teaches phonetics.
